A very nice place for breakfast and lunch. People go here for good, home-style cooking. It has the atmosphere of a canteen with a friendly dining area. It's exactly what it claims to be: charming and exceptionally friendly service.

Rustic and reasonably priced. There were two of us, and we were both very satisfied. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. We received friendly service and will definitely come back.

Excellent lunch menu with affordable daily specials. Two tables outside, fast and friendly service; highly recommended as a lunch break, for example, on a bike tour along the Elbe.

We went for breakfast again, and as always, the table was beautifully set with fresh flowers and real candles. There was a good selection of delicious items, arranged with fruit and vegetables. Eggs were cooked to order, and both fried and scrambled eggs came with freshly baked, truly crispy bacon. Plenty of bread, rolls, and butter were available. Coffee and milk were unlimited. The service was friendly as always, and the owner even stopped by to make sure everything was alright. Excellent value for money. The lunch menu is also highly recommended. Freshly cooked, home-style meals without any fuss, but perfectly prepared and always beautifully presented. You get the feeling that the food is cooked with love. Definitely with a lot of heart. Highly recommended.

Best value for money of any restaurant I know... several hundred to date. Always great dishes. About 10 standard dishes plus a daily special. German cuisine. Huge tables, always full. So you might have to find a spot at the Viking table. Very friendly staff. I'll definitely be back!

I highly recommend this restaurant. We had a cooking class there as a company celebration. Everyone was skeptical beforehand, but we had a lot of fun and the chef gave us excellent guidance. We cooked three courses, and it tasted delicious. The atmosphere is also great and very cozy. It was a wonderful evening with a fantastic chef. Keep up the good work!

We go there for lunch twice a week. It's always freshly prepared and tastes really delicious. The price/performance ratio is excellent. We highly recommend it (and the brewery too). The Hamburgers

Delicious lunch at moderate prices. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is fresh and tasty. You can even watch the chef cooking at times. As you can see from the pictures, it was delicious!

Two of us went there for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised! The breakfast platter was plentiful and lovingly prepared – everything from hearty liverwurst to aromatic Black Forest ham was there. The portion was so generous that it could easily have served three people. I gave the owner a few suggestions and felt they were received openly and friendly. Overall, a great start to the day – we'd love to come back!
